1949 (9 September) handwritten letter from

George Bernard Shaw: “ A man with a grievance

is an intolerable nuisance”

Two page letter in ballpoint ink to Jack Wilde,

Kirkoswald, Cumberland, advising him to “stick to

the reform you propose without reference to your

own cause” including the quaotation above and

“if you stick to your grievances you are a lost man”.

Interesting content from the Irish Nobel Laureate.
