Victorian silver chalice and paten.

The chalice with plain circular bowl, the interior gilt,

on knopped hexagonal stem, on stepped, lobed

foot, London, 1842, 13oz troy, 412g; the paten of

plain, dished, circular form, the interior gilt, stamped

with maker’s mark for C. Cummins, Dublin, Victorian

duty mark and date letter for 1848, 3½oz troy, 107g,

also a silver plated pyx. In black japanned tin case.

flask, Sheffield, 1867, in leather bound fitted case;

together with a French parcel-gilt, silver ciborium,

A Victorian silver rectangular vinaigrette, the scroll

moulded rim enclosing an engine-turned body,

the hinged lid enclosing a gilt interior with pierced,

hinged grille, opening on a fragment of natural

sponge, maker’s mark for George Unite, hallmarked

Birmingham, 1893. 1oz troy (30g).
