(74.9 by 55.2cm) Born in Donegal Robinson obtained a Diploma in Fine Art from Sligo Regional Technical College and later her BA from NCAD in 1998. Robinson works in various media. Using strong contrasting colours, she explores the fragility of the human condition in a clinical and small scale. The scenes she creates inside boxes employ intricate patterns and comment on family issues, memory and experience. Robinson has exhibited extensively in Ireland and was recipient of the CAP Foundation Award in 1998. “The boxes represent the constraints, the containment of marriage as an institution”, she has said of her works for the CAP Award. €150-€200 (£130-£180 approx.)
