(61 by 45.7cm) Paul Doran lives and works in Gorey, County Wexford. Doran makes paintings that are celebrations of paint itself. He received a BA, a H.Dip. A.D.T and a Masters in Fine Art from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin and was awarded the prestigious AIB Art Prize in 2005. Doran has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally and had a solo show with the Butler Gallery in 2008. He has work included in many private collections in Ireland, Germany, The Netherlands, Hong Kong and the USA and corporate and public collections such as: AIB, AXA Insurance, Bank of Ireland, Dublin Dental Hospital, KPM Amro and Irish Museum of modern Art, NCAD Collection, Office of Public Works, UCD, Wesley College, Dublin. €3000-€5000 (£2,730-£4,550 approx.)
