213 Martina Galvin (b. 1964) PINK CLOUD, 2017 powder-coated MDF on acrylic signed, titled and dated on transport container which accompanies the work 7 by 7.25 by 7in. (17.8 by 18.4 by 17.8cm) Exhibited: Cubus, Butler Gallery, 2017 Martina received a significant visual arts bursary for the development of work that culminated in “Cubus” exhibited at the Butler Gallery in 2017. Martina has completed a large permanent work for the interior of the UCD Sutherland School of Law, funded by McCann FitzGerald in 2018. Most recently she has installed a large wall piece for the Facebook offices in Cork City. Galvin has been the recipient of numerous awards and bursaries from the Arts Council, including an individual award for her 5-year photographic series Aldborough House. She has had solo shows at: Pallas Projects, Dublin; Wyscodnia Gallery, Poland; Temple Bar Gallery, Dublin as well as participating in numerous group shows. €600-€800 (£550-£730 approx.)
