(33.7 by 27.3cm) Exhibited: Plunge, solo exhibition RHA Gallery I, 2018 Vera Klute is a multi-disciplinary artist. She was born in Germany but is based in Dublin since 2001. She has exhibited widely in Ireland and abroad and her work is part of both private and public collections, most notably the Portrait Collection of the National Gallery of Ireland as well as the National Self-portrait Collection. In 2017 she had her first major survey show at the RHA. Previous solo exhibitions include the Molesworth Gallery (2016), the LAB, (2006, 2014), the RHA Ashford, (2014), QSS Gallery, Belfast (2014), the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny (2011) andWexford Arts Centre (2009). She has won numerous awards such as the Hennessy Portrait Prize at the National Gallery, the Hennessy Craig Scholarship and the K+M Evans Award at the RHA Annual Exhibition.
