(37.5 by 48.3cm) British artist Colin Harrison studied at Leicester College of Art and the Royal College of Art in London before moving to Belfast, where he worked as a senior lecturer at Belfast College of Art from 1964 to 1973. He was a prize winner in the Irish Exhibition of Living Art in 1969 and held his first one-person exhibition in Ireland at the Dawson Gallery in 1974. He returned to live in England in the mid-70s but continued to show his work regularly in solo and group exhibitions at Taylor Galleries in Dublin.
