104 History 154 1916-23. Two pinfire revolvers, .45 and .32mm. 19th century weapons, possibly owned by Volunteers. Found in North Co. Dublin. The larger is a cap and ball pistol, the other a cartridge revolver. Condition: Fair, the larger in two parts held together with a metal strip, both with extensive pitting and some rust. Reputedly carried by a “Dublin lady for protection during the Rising”. Also with this lot a bosun’s whistle, a Guinness penknife, a silver spoon, a Celtic Revival pill case, etc. Condition: Very good, trigger seized.
