Reverse with celtic scrolls surround, not inscribed, possibly unissued or an essay. Condition: Very fine This appears to be an award to commemorate the centenary of Thomas Davis and the Young Irelander movement. Estimate €100-€150 (approx £90-£140) Click here for more images and to bid on this lot 310 311 Circa 1950 Ireland - Holiday Travel by CIE, poster of Killiney by Eileen Costelloe Shows Killiney beach, railway station and tour bus, with Bray Head in the distance. Printed by Browne & Nolan, Dublin. Condition: Edge tears, small strips of adhesive tape, pinholes, overall very good. Eileen Costelloe was born in 1911 and died in 1976. She designed several posters for CIE in the 1940s and 1950s. She later exhbited with The Hendriks Gallery in Dublin, with solo shows in 1962, 1965, 1971 and 1975.
