Moore in his own hand , from King Street, London, writes about procuring books for Millman and on his calling card attached to the letter declines an invitation to dinner. Grattan’s signature on the outer enabled the letter to be carried free of charge, an abuse of the privilege he had as a Member of Parliament. Donated to Society of St Vincent de Paul, and offered on the Society’s behalf. Condition: Very good, edge tear.
