68 History 97 Late 19th century to early 20th century collection of glass and celluloid negatives of images in CountyWaterford. (96) Believed to be the work of The Poole Studio, Waterford (Arthur and his son Bertie Poole. Views include Faithlegg, Cheekpoint, cyclists, Mrs Bonniwell on horseback, Ellie and Annie Russell, Major Cuffe at Duncannon, snow scene at Woodlands House at Ballycannon Big, Curraghmore House, Portlaw, Lord Fitzgerald’s House at Little Island, fishing boats and ships at Cheekpoint and Dunmore East, construction of the Barrow Bridge (opened in 1906), soldiers at Halfway House, Ballygarvan Little, cockle pickers at Woodstown Strand, etc. Accompanied by 10 by 8 inch good quality prints made recently from the negatives. The negatives are 6 by 8 inches or 3.25 x 4.25 inches. Condition: Very good.
