104 1960s & 1970s 234 1964-1986 collection of signed letters from USA, including President Johnson, Vice President Bush, Cardinal Cushing etc. 1963 Cardinal Cushing, 1964 President Lyndon B. Johnson, 1967 Senator Mike Mansfield, 1968 and 1975 Congressman John McCormack, 1971 Senator J. Caleb Boggs, and 1986 Vice President George Bush Senior, all typed with signatures in ink, relating to the Irish Teachers Project, also two photographs of teachers meeting Bush, and related newspaper cutting. Condition: Mainly fine. Kennedy, and other Kennedy memorabilia, 1967 letter declining an invitation to meet and 1978 accepting an invitation, both typed on United States Senate notepaper, signed in ink, both to a Dublin teacher, also photographs of an Irish teachers group with President Kennedy in August 1963, an official portrait photograph of President Kennedy, some news cuttings etc. Condition: Fine, minor creases on letters.
