A unique piece created by English sculptor Miles Robinson. 10 by 8 by 8in. (25.4 by 20.3 by 20.3cm) Condition: Dust visible in crevases. Work would benefit from being cleaned. A smaller version of the sculpture on public display in Ipswich. Ronald ‘Carl’ Giles OBE (1916-1995) worked as a cartoonist for Express Group Newspapers from 1943 to 1992. The Grandma statue by sculptor Miles Robinson is based on the character in Carl Giles’s cartoons from the Daily Express.
