Postcards (4) include Jacobs Biscuits Dublin, Royal Hospital Kilmainham, badges (19) include Christian, Muslim and Jewish Chaplains, Royal Artillery, Border Regiment, RAF, etc., ‘silk’ cigarette cards (14) including Connaught Rangers, 8th King’s Royal Irish Hussars, and other Irish, medals for coronations and other royal events (6) including Victoria, Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII, and George V, ‘magic lantern’ slides (2) including Royal Irish Hussars. Queen Victoria’s visit to Ireland medal to a Dublin Metropolitan Police constable. Inscribed to C. Kelliher D.M.P. Cornelius Kelliher from Castleisland, Co. Kerry, joined the police in 1893 but was dismissed (cause unknown and possibly worth researching) on 14 December 1900. With a copy extract from the register of the DMP. Condition: Good very fine.
