Estimate €150-€200 (approx £130-£170) Click here for more images and to bid on this lot 106 107 Circa 1915 Loyal Dublin Volunteers lapel badge Scarce bronze lapel badge of the Loyal Dublin Volunteers by Vaughtons Limited, Birmingham. 30mm, reverse numbered 377. Condition: Extremely fine The Loyal Dublin Volunteers was a force set up by southern unionists in 1913 to oppose Home Rule. The leaders of the Dublin Volunteers claimed to have a force of a least 2,000 men for service. The LDV trained in various locations around Dublin, most notably in Monkstown, Co. Dublin.
