Notices appeared in the press (signed by Harry Boland and Tom Kelly – Hon. Secs. of Sinn Féin) that de Valera will arrive in Dublin on the 26th March and be met at the gates by the Lord Mayor who will escort him to the Mansion House. De Valera had been in hiding since his escape from Lincoln Jail. This poster issued by Lieutenant- General F. Shaw bans the planned meeting and procession. Rare. 30 by 20in.
