A plate used by Daniel O’Connell while imprisoned in Richmond Bridewell. With a letter from Mrs Rothe, former Superintendent of Grangegorman Prison confirming the attribution. Also a copy of an address to her on her retirement. interesting and rare O’Connell collectible. 9.50 by 9.50in. (24.1 by 24.1cm) Condition: Some crazing to the bottom, otherwise very good.
