A draft of the surrender of Carlow Castle in 1650, pasted behind a sale of ‘Indenture for Morris fitz Garrah (fitz Garrat), late a soldier in Col. Prittors,’with details of his unpaid service, 8th Sept 1651 to 24th Feb. 1653. The draft of the surrender of the Castle contains the origin of the surrender terms as confirmed by historians. Transcript and detailed notes attached. 12 by 8in. (30.5 by 20.3cm) Condition: Very good, mostly legible.
