170 277 Replica Beretta 9mm pistol - ‘James Bond’s favoured gun’. The replica automatic pistol with removable magazine and operating slide. Serial number C7826Z The Beretta was, effectively, James Bond’s first firearm. Although it was Bond’s weapon of choice in the early Fleming novels, it was replaced in Dr. No by the Walther PPK. Condition: Fine The Beretta Model 92FS or M9, as the US military calls it first entered service with the US armed forces in the Mid-1980s. They beat all of the other pistols in the competition to select a new US service pistol (except the Sig P226, which was considered too expensive) and are well liked by the troops issued them. It is an update of the earlier M92 series pistols and they are currently in service with over forty countries, including France, Iran and Turkey.
