(38.1 by 26.7cm) Frame Size: 23 by 17.5in. (58.4 by 44.5cm) Charles Vincent Lamb RHA RUA (1893–1964) was an influential Irish landscape and portrait painter. Born in Armagh, he trained at Dublin’s Metropolitan School of Art. A key member of the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA), Lamb famously championed Irish identity through his contemplative, warm-toned paintings of fishermen and peasant life on the rugged Connemara coast.
