A scratch-built model of a Galway hooker

Built circa 2004 by Johnny Devane of Carraroe - a well known builder of

hookers - to a private commission by the present owner. It is an exact

replica of a full sized hooker and such was Devane’s attention to detail

that he even carried out “sea trials” with it. 49 x 50 x 12in. (124 x 127 x

green and gilt, with simulated Dunlop Cord tyres, tinplate driver, `TCO`

black, by Hartoys Delhi; and a Japanese tinplate battery-operated Police
