Postal History. 18th and 19th century collection of postmarks,

mostly English and Scottish, some foreign.

Fronts, entires and entire letters, markings include early

datestamps, mileage marks, townstamps, Free franks, late mail etc.,

a good variety of rates including foreign, free fronts 1810-1830

approx. including signatures of Dukes of Westminster, Dorset

and Portland and other members of the House of Lords, mainly

dated from 1730 to 1840, some later including 1860s Prussian with

adhesives, a few Irish with PAID AT BALLYMENA and Belfast

spoon cancel, a most interesting lot worth close inspection. (200+
