1937: Paris Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques medal
issued to William C. Bullitt
Paris International Exposition of Arts and Technics bronze medal by Henri
Dropsy issued and engraved to “William C. Bullitt Ambassadeur des Etats-
Unis D’Amerique”. An interesting item issued to a historical figure,
appointed United States Ambassador to France from 1936 to 1940 by
Franklin D. Roosevelt and the first US ambassador to the Soviet Union
from 1936-40. Also with signed photo of Hedy Lamarr dedicated to

Circa 1930s: Irish Army Commandant’s dress uniform
Attributed Commadant’s uniform by Callaghan’s Dame Street. Comprising
of shako cap complete with braid FF badge and calf leather sweat band
marked with owner’s name ‘Comm Hegarty’. 1935 pattern tunic infantry
complete with collar badges, IV buttons, silver lace shoulder boards and
lanyard cuff with diagonal band of shamrock lace and a three point, three
button flap. Trousers with red piping, sword scabbard and sword frog with
shamrock lace belt. (5 items)

20th Century: Dan Rainey Irish historical watercolours, drawings and
unpublished biographical history articles
A collection of 10 albums. The first 7 containing historical recolections
and research by Dan Rainey illustrated by 35 watercolours and various
photographs and documents. Articles include East Belfast characters,
Holidays in Dublin and Portrush, a collected history of Holywood,
childhood memories of Ballymacarret in the 1920s, the Connswater Flute
Band etc. The final three albums containing a total of 129 watercolours
and pen and ink drawings of historical buildings and locations throughout
Ireland and also ornithological drawings from the 1930s. A fine collection.
