The auction will include a fantastic array of historical
manuscripts, printed documents, pamphlets, leaflets,
broadsheets, posters, proclamations, revolutionary and
other political publications, flags, medals, weapons and
militaria associated with the Irish fight for
independence 1798 to 1921, and later historic events,
as well as good ranges of antiquarian books and maps.
Pictured here is the dress uniform of General Sir John
Grenfell Maxwell, commander of the forces that
quelled the 1916 Rising and who ordered the courts
martial and execution of its leaders.
