1833. Diary of Rev. John Prior, son of Dr Thomas
Prior, Vice Provost of Trinity College Dublin.
Includes travels in Italy, his marriage to Sophia Odell, with much
mention of her family and the Alexander Hamilton family. Manuscript,
100pp, quarter calf, marbled boards. His grandfather Thomas Prior
(1680-1751) was a founder of the Royal Dublin Society. His father, also
Thomas Prior, was Vice Provost of The University of Dublin from 1832
to 1833 and 1840 to 1843.
