1842 (1 June) House of Commons and House of
Lords addresses signed by members of parliament
A remarkable set of signatures of members of the House of Commons
and House of Lords in 1842. Purportedly signed following the Queen
Victoria assassination attempt in May 1842 (see lot 98). Includes the
signature of Daniel O’Connell (as Lord Mayor of Dublin) above those of
his sons Maurice and John O’Connell.
