A K98 small-arms cleaning kit, the tin stamped with maker’s mark, ‘G.Appel’, containing aluminium pull-

through chain, two brushes, spoon, bakelite oil bottle and, in seperate compartment, oilled rope; a detonator box

containing seven various ‘D’-rings, straps etc.; and an M42 spare barrel tube, stamped ‘ppr - 1942’. (3)
