Legend reads GOD SAVE IRELAND 1867 with harp and O L O’B on the tongue. The latter refers to ‘The Manchester Martyrs’ - Allen Larkin and O’Brien, executed in Manchester in December 1867. Extremely rare - the only example recorded. 2 by 3.50in. (5.1 by 8.9cm) Condition: Fine, dark toning, some wear. A reward of £20 is offered for information on the party who broke the windows of Rathronan Church, County Limerick on 29 January, issued by G.B.W. Stuart, Sub-Inspector, also The Constabulary Gazette, 28 July 1900 front cover. 11 by 8in. (27.9 by 20.3cm) Condition: The reward poster is fine, attractively framed and glazed, the Gazette has stains in parts but overall good, framed and glazed.
