MacDermott writes to Tom Clarke from his cell in Mountjoy Jail, regarding ‘that farm business’ (code for O’Donovan Rossa’s funeral which MacDermott was organising with Clarke and others. He mentions also ‘Jos’ and ‘Mr O’Connor’ both code names for other members of the O’Donovan Rossa Funeral Committee.
