during and after the rebellion
A collection of 6 uniform mounted photographs of scenes of the 1916
Rebellion. Each with contemporaneous inscribed ink title to the rear.
Scenes include Eden Quay at Hopkin’s Corner, D.B.C. Restaurant in
Sackville Street, Leicestershire Regiment in Holles Street, Stephen’s Lane
Barricade, Camp Kitchen on Grattan Street and pumping out a canal to
reclaim a sunken barge. Related to photograph album sold by Whyte’s 16
April 2011, lot 256. 2.50 x 4.50in. (6.35 x 11.43cm)

Cheque drawn on Royal Bank of Ireland, Terenure, dated 9th September
1913 for two pounds, six shillings and ninepence to Wm. Magee, all in
Pearse's hand and signed "Pádraic Mac Piarais". Signed on reverse Wm.
Magee and Thomas O'Connor. Attractively framed with a print of Pearse.

Dublin
An attractive silver frame and bevelled standing mirror. Hallmarked
Birmingham 1916. Engraved by Hopkins & Hopkins Dublin as retailer.
Reputed to have been salvaged from the Hopkins shop opposite the
O’Connell monument during the Rebellion.
