Dublin. 1905 - 1906. First published in 1898 as a series of articles in

the New Ireland Review and, according to the introduction, published

in the current form “about seven years” later. A presentation copy,

from Padraig Pearse to Joseph Plunkett. A paper plate gummed to the

reverse of the title page written in black fountain pen. “Do Sheosamh

O’ Pluinghceid - O Padraic MacPiarais - 19-1-16”. Containing a letter,

dated 31 August 1958 from Roger O’Hanrahan to Mr/s Plunkett, gifting

the book.
