graph print, signed by both.
Framed, signed in lower margin by both artist and
sitters. Printed by Wilson Hartnell & Co. Publish-
ers, Dublin.
This and a similar print of Lavery’s portrait of Mi-
chael Collins were sold in a limited edition (quan-
tity unknown but believed to be less than 100) to
raise funds for Sinn Fein. About 20 examples of
each have been recorded in auctions over the past
two decades.
