C.1840 Spanish light cavalry sword.

Based on the British 1821-pattern light cavalry sword,

the slightly curved single fullered blade stamped with

the maker’s mark for ‘Armas Toledo Ballesteros’. the

ricasso stamped ‘J986 - AE’. In steel scabbard. The blade

hilt and scabbard stamped with non-matching numbers.

Victorian Scottish officer’s sword.

A Victorian Scottish, basket-hilt sword, standard pattern

with steel basket and liner, the straight, 32 inch, double

fullered blade etched with a Victorian Royal cypher,

trade label of Kenning, Little Britain, London and named

to John Alexander MacDonald, in steel scabbard. Sword

A Victorian Scottish, basket-hilt sword, standard pattern

with steel basket lacking liner, the straight, 33 inch,

double fullered blade etched with a St Andrew’s Cross

and the badge of the Royal Scots Fusiliers, by Henry

Wilkinson, Pall Mall, numbered 25002 (1882), in steel

scabbard. Sword length
