1916 (9-30 May). Collection of emergency postal
markings used in Dublin after destruction of the
GPO.
Includes a postcard addressed to a Royal Dublin
Fusilier in the British Expeditionary Force, two
envelopes, one with letter from Sutton referring to
the commandeering of a local girls school by the
army and three pieces, all with emergency postal
cancels used at the Parcels Office, Amiens Street,
as a temporary sorting office.
