1966. 1916 Rising commemorative bronze mod-

el of ‘The Dying Cúchulainn’ by Oliver Sheppard

The small scale sculpture of ‘The Dying Cúchu-

lainn’ by Oliver Sheppard. Manufactured under

licence fromThe Commissioner of Public Works.

Mounted on Connemara marble. The large orig-

inal sculpture, which commemorates the 1916

Rising, is located in the G.P.O., Dublin.
