1916-1966 Easter Rising Golden Jubilee Com-

memorative Medallion

A 2 ounces 22ct gold medallion, the obverse a view

of the GPO in flames with a sunrise behind, and

‘Aiseiri na Casca - 1916 - 1966’ , the reverse the

signatures of the signatories of The Proclamation

of the Irish Republic, hallmarked for Dublin, 1966,

Golden Jubilee stamp, by O’Connor’s.

1966 Two Padraig Pearse silver commemorative

medallions by Vincze.

One two-inch and one one-and-a-half inch Pad-

raig Pearse silver commemorative medals designed

by Paul Vincze (1907-1994). The obverse with an

image of Pádraig Pearse the reverse with a quo-

tation from the Proclamation of the Irish Repub-

lic, 2.25oz troy and 1.125oz troy respectively. In

original Worboys Dublin fitted case and Worboys

delivery carton. The two-inch medal sealed in

polythene slip. (2)

Vincze (1907-1994). The obverse with an image of
