the streets of the City and D.M.P. area”, signed

with Commissioner’s hand stamped signature and

inscribed “Permanent”.

Printed pass “Permission from the Military Au-

thorities to enter and leave the Kingstown Area”

with Monkstown datestamp and stamped signa-

ture of Major Rhodes, issued to “Mrs Tilly and

child” to travel to and from Dublin. Mrs Tilly

was the wife of the Registrar of The Metropolitan

School of Art.
