1963 (June 26-29) John Fitzgerald Kennedy official Irish visit booklet
signed
An extremely desirable official Irish government booklet titled in Irish and
English “Visit to Ireland of The President of the United States of America
John Fitzgerald Kennedy”. Published by the Department of Foreign Affairs
and printed by Hely Thom Ltd. Dublin with 7pp detailing the packed
schedule of Kennedy’s visit to Ireland and with a loose page insert giving
revised arrangements for the President’s departure. Signed in black ink on
the cover by John F. Kennedy. This example belonged to the senior official
in the Department of Foreign Affairs who was responsible for orgainising
the schedule for President Kennedy’s visit, donated to her nephew, the
present owner. President Kennedy signed it in recognition of her work on
the visit. A very rare and desirable piece of ephemera from this famous
visit, 5 months before JFK’s assasination. 6.50 x 5in. (16.51 x 12.70cm)

Powerscourt House County Wicklow, the home of the Slazenger family, a
romantic picnic was also aranged at nearby Luggala courtesy of Oonagh,
