Framed Memorial Scroll issued to the family of Lieutenant Martin Michael
Arthur Lillis Royal Irish Regiment attached Royal Flying Corps who was
killed in action on 11 April 1917 Son of Thomas Barry Lillis and Anne
Victoria Lillis, of Carrig, Queenstown, Co. Cork. Born at Monkstown, Co.
Dublin. Also with a related unidentified framed photograph of a Royal Army
Medical Corps officer. (2 items)

1939-45: Bomber Command Air Crew Europe casualty medal group
1939-45 Star, Air Crew Europe Star, 1939-45 War Medal, all unnamed as
issued. Together with original medal compliments slip issued to the family
of Sergeant E. J. Rapley, original letter dated 31 August 1942 to the widow
of Sergeant Rapley and two small snapshot photographs of the medal
recipient in uniform. Eric John Rapley, a member of 7 Squadron Royal Air
Force Volunteer Reserve was killed on 11 May 1941 when his plane, which
was on a bombing mission to Berlin, crashed. He is buried in Becklingen
War Cemetery.

Collection of 6 individually framed engravings produced by Boussod,
Valadon & Cie as part of the ‘Estampe Miniature’ series. Many appearing to
be scenes of the Franco-Prussian War. Also with two Irish ARP issue WW2
respirators, two pairs of binoculars, one made by Nash-Kelvinator and dated
1943, and a Victorian sword stick (11 items)

circa 1790: Cabra Castle Infantry shoulder belt plate
George III oval shoulder belt plate with royal cypher to the centre and the
name of the regiment above and below. Double stud and single hook to
reverse and with a mounting stand. An extremely scarce example. A
volunteer regiment raised by Mervyn Pratt. This is the old Cabra (now Dun
na Rí), Co. Cavan and in the forest park are still to be seen the ruins of the
barracks for the regiment. 3 x 2¼in. (8 x 5cm)

White metal officer’s cross belt plate. Engraved with the crowned Maid of
Erin harp and royal cypher with “Tinehinch Infantry” in scrolls above and
below. Double stud and single hook to reverse and stamped “Bobland
Dublin”. A Queen’s County (Laois) yeomanry, numbering about 70 under the
command of L. Sandes, according to the Return of Yeomanry and
Volunteers in The United Kingdom, 1803. 3 x 2½in. (8 x 5cm)
