Service Medals (2) including one with

COMHRACH bar indicating I.R.A. combat unit

service, also 1971 Golden Jubilee medal awarded

to survivors, all apparently to Alphonsus Traynor

together with picture postcards (4) of the Irish

Railway Clearing House staff, Dublin, 1916, where

he worked as a clerk, a 1947 Travel Identity Card,

and a 1915 Great Northern Railway friendship

medal on a watch chain. Rare set of medals with

good provenance and background material. (9)

sary Medal to West Cork Flying Column Volun-

teer

Awarded to Timothy O’Callaghan of Keimcor-

roboula, Ballingeary, Co. Cork, accompanied by

1942 Award Certificate of a pension for his mili-

tary service in the 3rd (West Cork) Brigade. With

original box of issue and tunic ribbon for the 1971

medal. (5)
