1923 The Four Courts, Dublin, print.

A dry-point engraving by Morgan Dennis (1829-

1960), an American artist, with a view of the Four

Courts following the Civil War. The cupola’s dome

is missing and the West curtain wall is shrouded in

scaffolding. Three Free State soldiers in the fore-

ground face the viewer.
